An information session and public debate will be held on 18 and 19 April 2011 in Belgrade, under the project "Debating Serbia's European future: the voice of civil society in decision making" implemented by the European Institute, Sofia, in partnership with the Institute of International Politics and Economics, Belgrade. The project is supported in the frame of the programme Strengthening Serbia-EU Civil Society Dialogue funded by the EU.

The information session, which is open to all citizens, will start at 10:00 on Monday 18 April at Nikola Pashic Sq., Belgrade. The public debate will be held on the premises of the Institute of International Politics and Economics at 25 Makedonska St., II floor.

The topic of the debate is the Process of Negotiations towards EU Accession of Serbia, the emphasis being on judiciary and also on Bulgaria's experience from the past negotiations for EU membership.

Both events are the conclusion of a series of similar info sessions and public debates held throughout the country in the period February-April 2011 (Vranje, Zrenjanin, Novi Sad, Cacak and Novi Pazar). A summary of the results and discussions at these events will be presented in Belgrade too.
