Pleven discusses sustainable development and consumers

EU Commissioner for Consumer Protection Meglena Kuneva is expected to make a special address to the participants in today's discussion meeting on the "Sustainable Development - Reasonable Consuming" topic.

The event will take place in the conference room of Regional Administration at 2 p.m. on March 21st, 2008 (Friday). A press conference is planned for 3.30 p.m. in the hall on the fourth floor. In the discussion will also take part the European Institute director Juliana Nikolova, Pleven Regional governor Tsvetko Tsvetkov, Pleven Mayor Nayden Zelenogorski, and students of the National high school in Finance and Business "Intellect" in Pleven. Representatives of youth organizations have also been invited.

The discussion is organized by the European Institute as Regional Administration - Pleven is the host. This is the first of series of similar debates with young people on different topics in the range of the project "3D - The Voice of the Young People for Europe." The project is executed by the European Institute with the partnership of Darik Radio and is financed by the Directorate General Communication of the European Commission in connection with "Plan D for democracy, dialogue and debate."
