Europe 2020 – the Civic Visions
21-01-2010

The “Interacting with the European Parliament” project (http://parliament.europe.bg), co-funded by the European Parliament’s DG Communication and implemented by the European Institute Foundation, the Center for Policy Modernization and Europe Gateway www.europe.bg, is organizing an International conference “Europe 2020 – the Civic Visions”, which will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 29 and 30 January 2010.

The idea of the conference is to bring together representatives of think-tanks, grass-root CSOs, academics and MEPs, enabling them to exchange views on their visions for the future of Europe on the basis of their own field experience and legislative work; as well as draw recommendations, which could be used in the policy-making when the EU next planning period will be shaped.

More details on the conference, its agenda, the participants and the topics to be discussed can be found on the site of the “Interacting with the European Parliament” project (http://parliament.europe.bg). Further information can also be received at conference@europe.bg
